In 2001, he moved to the Scientific Park of Barcelona (PCB) as head of the Fine Chemistry Unit, a technology platform devoted to process chemistry and polymorphism of active pharmaceutical ingredients.

In 2003, he was involved in the creation of ENANTIA S.L., a spin-off of the University of Barcelona, dedicated to process chemistry, with expertise in enantioselective synthesis and asymmetric catalysis.

In 2004, he joined the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia as the Parallel Synthesis – Process Chemistry Unit Manager. Since April 2007 he has been the Research Support Area Manager and since October 2009 he is the Strategic Area Manager.
