The Unit is responsible for advising ICIQ researchers in IP protection; identifying inventions to be protected; managing the patent application processes and patent granting processes; managing valorization activities of patent applications and, ultimately, and as the main objective, transfer ICIQ’s IP to industry or to spin-off companies.
