Abstract: An efficient panchromatic dye-sensitized solar cell is constructed by using a molecular cocktail composed of an organic dye and a zinc phthalocyanine (see picture). The use of multiple, complementary dyes (cosensitization) is an important step towards solar cells that operate across the full spectrum of solar irradiation.
