Glass Blowing Workshop


The ICIQ glass blowing workshop supports the Institute researchers in terms of design, fabrication and repairing of glass lab material, with the capability of working with borosilicate glass and quartz.
The workshop is equipped with two blowing torches, an oven, two saws, a polisher and a lathe.

Equipment

Jupiter Circular flame torch, Jupiter (Miéma).
Comb flame torch, Olympic (Miéma).
Oven (TecnoPiro).
Diamond disc saw.
Steel disc saw.
